Beside exploration diving is about awareness. About understanding that beneath the beauty lies responsibility. When you choose to become a Rescue Optimist, you choose to grow beyond your own experience and become a diver your buddy and others can rely on.

Welcome to your Rescue Optimist Journey!
This is your ticket to love the ocean while being more prepared. After joining one of the Blue Meet-Ups you’ll start your journey in understanding the ocean not only as a destination, but as a living, breathing force that shapes our planet – and our future.

Requirements to start
You are extremely enthousiast about starting this new journey in connecting with the ocean!

Also on your pre-journey checklist:

* be at least 18 years old

* you are fit to dive, find out more

* you can swim for at least 200 meter

  • you have 25 logged dives
  • you are un the proud possession of a First Aid, CPR and O2 provider certification.

Explore the ocean: Step Into Responsibility
This course strengthens your problem-solving skills, sharpens your situational awareness, and builds the kind of calm self-confidence that makes all the difference when it matters most.

Because the best Rescue diver is a prepared one. Step by step, you become the diver who notices sooner, thinks faster, and acts smarter.

Through realistic in-water scenarios, you’ll learn how to prevent incidents, manage stress, assist others and respond effectively in challenging situations. You’ll refine your self-rescue abilities, improve buddy awareness and practice structured rescue techniques.

But this journey is about more than skills. It’s about developing composure under pressure. With your in-water training and engaging online learning plus inspiring in-person workshops, you’ll deepen your understanding of risk management, human factors, and responsible diving.

You’ll strengthening your technical ability and your overall judgment. After completing this journey, you will feel more confident, prepared and calm. You know how to act, react and handle with care. Supporting the ocean, without hesitation.

The Rescue Optimist Journey isn’t just a defining step in your diving hobby. As part of our Ocean Optimist activities, you’ll continue translating your growth into meaningful action on land. Rescue training naturally deepens your sense of responsibility; for your dive buddies and for the ocean itself. Greater awareness comes with greater care.

🌊 Open water, 3 days, min. 6 sessions
